About WenderBridge
The object and the bridge are one system
WenderBridge is a remembrance platform with physical anchors. The Heritage Bronze sculpture on your shelf and the digital tribute it opens are not two products — they are one system, designed to outlast both of us.
How this began
WenderBridge was born in a workshop in Knoxville, Tennessee. Smoky Mountain Coilcraft has been hand-finishing Heritage Bronze sculptures for years — each one weighted with iron shot and plaster, sealed with care, shipped to families who chose them because they looked like their dog.
The question that started WenderBridge was simple: what if the sculpture could open something? What if a phone held to the base didn't just show a website, but opened a permanent space — a bridge — where the dog's memory lived?
An NFC chip embedded before the cavity is sealed. A QR code laser-engraved on the base. One tap, one scan, and the bridge opens. The sculpture becomes the key to something that lasts as long as the memory does.
The permanence promise
Free tribute pages never expire
There is no inactivity timer. No purge. No “upgrade or lose your page” pressure. The bridge exists as long as WenderBridge exists.
Photos and memories are never deleted
A lapsed subscription returns the tribute to the free tier. It never removes content. Never deletes photos. Never erases a Bridge Book entry.
Not a startup
WenderBridge is funded by Wender Studios's ongoing manufacturing business. It is not venture-backed. It will not run out of money. Tribute pages are permanent because the business model does not require them to expire.
Your photos are yours
Pet photos uploaded to WenderBridge are never used for AI training, never shared with third parties, and never aggregated into any dataset. Full data export is always available.
How the bridge works
The sculpture ships
Each Heritage Bronze sculpture is hand-finished in Knoxville. An NTAG213 NFC chip is programmed and embedded in the base before the cavity is sealed. A QR code is laser-engraved alongside it. Both open the same bridge.
The first tap
The owner holds their phone to the sculpture. The bridge opens. A gentle 5-step flow asks for the dog's name, a photo, and an email. Three minutes. No rush.
The bridge grows
Family and friends leave memories in the Bridge Book. Photos accumulate. Over time, Memory Weather surfaces patterns already present in the photos — the same lake, the same tennis ball, a child growing taller across the years.
The bridge stays
The sculpture sits on a shelf. The bridge lives on every phone. Anyone who taps it — at a funeral, at 2am, at a family gathering years from now — arrives at the same place. The bridge is permanent.
